Two ways out: the bell, or the hour.
At the bell the whole field is in the corral. Not in it, you are out. Loop not finished inside sixty minutes, you are out. There is not much more to it.
Scoring
One loop, one point.
- 01
Each person completing one loop scores one point.
- 02
The country with the most points wins.
- 03
The longer we run with a full team, the more points we score.
Backyard
The same everywhere in the world.
- 01
Participants must be inside the corral at the bell.
- 02
All competitors must start at the bell. No late starts.
- 03
Except for restroom breaks a competitor cannot leave the course until the yard is complete.
- 04
No non-competitors may accompany active entrants on the course, including eliminated runners.
- 05
Whatever you bring with you on the loop, you have to return with. Clothes, flasks, crockery, everything.
- 06
No personal aid during a yard.
- 07
Keeping lap times is optional.
Teamwork
Help each other get far.
- 01
When someone forgets their bib, remind them it is not important.
- 02
When someone can't continue, help them walk. We are allowed to help each other on the course, and each person completing one loop is one point.
- 03
When it appears someone gets paced, send the pacer away. Remind them the runner can get disqualified.
- 04
When someone forgets their headlamp, offer them to run with you or remind them they can use their phone.
«If we have fun, we will run longer.»
